Bio-E.P.™ Wire Rope Lubricants

Bio-E.P.™ Wire Rope Lubricants ate ultimately biodegradable vegetable oils formulated with antiwear, extreme pressure (EP), anti-rust, oxidation inhibitors, and a tackifier. They are recommended for lubricating multi-strand cables and wire rope wound around central cores of steel or fiber, which are subject to heavy loading and/or shock loading. These biobased products provide improved fire resistance over equal viscosity petroleum products and contain no chlorine, zinc, or heavy metals. Performance is enhanced by use of the Stabilized HOBS's natural vegetable oil composition, which provides an oily boundary film. In addition, this oily film has a natural polarity to metal surfaces and helps clean and then penetrates deep into the inner core of the cable preventing rust and wear. The super high viscosity index of the Stabilized HOBS adds additional lubrication qualities to this high performance lubricant. Laboratory and field tests have shown that the products provide exceptional protection with excellent cold temperature pumpability.

Bio-E.P.™ Wire Rope Compound

Bio-E.P.™ Wire Rope Compound is a biobased Extreme Pressure (EP) compound specially formulated for lubricating multi-strand cables and wire rope wound around central cores of steel or fiber. This product is fortified with sulphurized/overbased calcium sulfonate EP and anti-corrosion additives with exceptional properties that will lubricate at extreme high pressures (see 4-Ball and Timken EP Tests below). In addition, it provides excellent anti- wear and anti-seize protection and penetrates into the inner core of the wire rope. A unique biobased thickener provides for good low temperature mobility and excellent resistance to water. Also, a high level of tackifier adds excellent adhesive properties to the application. It contains no heavy metals, lead, antimony, zinc, molybdenum disulfide or chlorine and is formulated to be ultimately biodegradable.

Bio-Saw Guide™ Oils (SAE 10W20, 10W30, 15W50, 20W60)

Bio-Saw Guide™ Oils are ultimately biodegradable vegetable oils formulated With Antiwear/Extrerne Pressure additives, rust/corrosion and oxidation inhibitors, an emulsifier, and a tackifier. They are specially formulated to lubricate modern "thin kerf" sawing systems. Performance is enhanced by use of the Stabilized HOBS's natural composition, which provides an oily boundary film. The super high viscosity index of the Stabilized HOBS adds additional lubrication qualities to these high performance lubricants. Bio-Saw Guide Oils have the optimum emulsification to allow the correct mixing of oil and water. In addition, they provide tackiness properties to allow the lubricant to cling to saw and guide components.

Bio-Concrete™ Mold Release Fluids (Soy Based)

Bio-Concrete™ Mold Release Fluid (Plus Corrosion Inhibitor):
A BCI product that is highly effective as a mold release or parting compound for cast concrete products. This biobased formula results in smooth finishes on concrete cast from slurries. In addition to its performance as a parting compound, the product is effective as a rust preventative, protecting the metal forms from rusting during use and storage. The absence of rust on the forms eliminates staining of the formed piece and serious loss of the forms themselves. It allows the metal forms to stay clean; "hang-up" or excessive deposits on the form edges are virtually eliminated. This product is also biodegradable, which is highly important because of loss into the environment. Because of the high flash, the product is safer than petroleum products. This product is more fire resistant and contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Bio-Concrete™ Mold Release Fluid (Low Viscosity General Purpose):
A general purpose, lower cost product that is effective as a mold release or parting compound for cast concrete products. This biobased formula results in improved finishes on concrete cast from slurries, and may be used in applications where corrosion inhibition is not a concern. This product is also biodegradable, which is highly important because of loss into the environment. Because of the high flash, the product is also a safer product than petroleum solvents with comparative viscosity range. This product is more fire resistant and contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Bio-Concrete™ Mold Release Fluid (Modified):
Additive composition, surface tension, and viscosities of the Concrete Mold Release Fluid can be modified for special customer needs.

Bio-Asphalt Release™ Agent

A specially formulated, ultimately biodegradable soy asphalt release agent that is a safe improvement over petroleum solvents for preventing asphalt from sticking and for cleaning tools and equipment. This safe, nonflammable biobased product contains no hazardous Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). It replaces diesel fuel and kerosene that are environmental problems and no longer accepted by EPA. Bio-Asphalt Release™ has exceptional benefits over petroleum oils in these applications because there is direct danger of polluting the water, soil, or work environment through loss of the petroleum lubricant.

Bio-Process™ Oils (SUS-50, 70, 100, 150, 200)

Bio-Process™ Oils are blended highly refined vegetable based oils (Biobased) that replace neutral petroleum mineral oils in industrial processing applications. They have been Stabilized0 to resist oxidation and provide excellent light color stability. They are virtually aromatic, chlorine, and sulfur free and may be used in dust control as a dust suppressant. The oils have been highly refined, bleached, deodorized and are high in oleic acid content for higher stability over conventional vegetable oils. In addition, they provide excellent compatibility with rubber polymers, mineral and synthetic oils, and provide excellent lubricity for recommended applications.

Bio-Process™ Oils are non-toxic, Food Grade, and exceeds U.S. FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3620 (band c), for use as dust suppressants, paper defoamers, in adhesives, rubber articles, and as a surface lubricant in the food packaging area, They are ideal for use in compounding a wide variety of finished rubber products where certain performance is desired in formulas. They also function as processing aids and extender oils in rubber compounding where vegetable oils may enhance the process. Bio-Process™ Oils are named for their approximate Saybolt viscosity, in SUS at 100°F.

Bio-Shredder™ Machine Lubricant

Bio-Shredder™ Machine Lubricant is a blended highly refined vegetable based formula (Biobased) that replace neutral petroleum mineral oils in light machine applications. This product has been Stabilized to resist oxidation and provide excellent light color stability and is Food Grade. It is virtually aromatic, chlorine, and sulfur free. The base oil has been highly refined, bleached, deodorized and is high in oleic acid content for higher stability over conventional vegetable oils. This product provides excellent compatibility with rubber, plastics, general purpose elastomers, and other materials that this product may be in contact with. It provides excellent lubricity for recommended applications.

Bio-Assembly™ Oils (ISO 7, 15, 22, 32, 46, 68, 100, 150, 220)

Bio-Assembly™ Oils are specially formulated vegetable based oils (Biobased) that replace neutral petroleum oils in industrial assembly and general purpose applications. These ultimate biodegradable products provide low odor and are highly accepted where additive free neutral base oils and material compatibility are desired. They have been Stabilized to resist oxidation and provide excellent light color stability. They are aromatic, chlorine, and sulfur free.

Bio-Assembly™ Oils provide excellent compatibility with many types of rubber, general purpose elastomers, and other materials they may be in contact with. These oils provide in-house, short term corrosion protection for metal parts and they are non-staining to aluminum and yellow metals. Their natural oiliness provides excellent lubricity in assembly and fabricating of metal parts that do not require anti-wear and E.P. additives. Bio-Assembly™ Oils have shown to provide the proper oiliness and fluid film necessary for rubber to metal contact in shooter assembly and presses.

Bio-Slide Way™ Lubricants (ISO 32, 68, 220)

Bio-Slide Way™ Lubricants are specially formulated biodegradable, biobased products developed for the lubrication of machine tools and slides. They eliminate stick-slip or table chatter by reducing friction between mating surfaces. Where ways are heavily loaded they provide super high film strength and excellent EP protection.

Bio-Slide Way™ Lubricants formulations have metal wetting and adhesion properties that enable them to form uniform films that resist squeezing from way surfaces while machine is not in operation. By preventing stick-slip, the wear of way surfaces is minimized and their service life is greatly extended.

Bio-Spindle™ Oil (ISO 22)

Bio-Spindle™ Oil is an ultimate biodegradable vegetable based formula that replaces many mineral oil based spindle oils. Bio-Spindle™ Oil is formulated to perform in high speed, lightly loaded bearings that require both Anti-Wear, Rust, and Oxidation properties. It is highly inhibited against moisture and rusting in both fresh and sea water and passes both A and B Sequences of the ASTM D-665 Turbine Oil Rust Test. Incorporating the super high viscosity index of the Stabilized High Oleic Base Stocks (HOBS) into the formula, gives multi-grade synthetic based oil performance by boosting the viscosity index to synthetic levels. Bio-Spindle™ Oil is designed to meet or exceed the ISO standard FC-22. A zinc-free additive system has also been developed that is environmentally friendly and meets the Anti-Wear requirements for high speed spindle bearings.

Bio-Vacuum Pump™ Oil (SAE 10W30)

Bio-Vacuum Pump™ Oil is an ultimately biodegradable vegetable oil formula that is recommended in the daily industry for automatic milking machines and most other vacuum pump applications. Can also be used as an AW hydraulic fluid and it contains rust, corrosion, oxidation and foam inhibitors. Performance is enhanced by use of the Stabilized HOBS's natural composition, which provides an oily boundary film. Bio-Rock Drill™ Oils (SAE 10W20, 10W30, 15W50, 20W60)

Bio-Rock Drill™ Oils are ultimately biodegradable vegetable oils formulated with Antiwear/EP, rust and oxidation inhibitors for the protection of pneumatic equipment. They are designed to emulsify water for improved lubricity in moist conditions and provide extra adhesiveness and anti-misting. Performance is enhanced by use of the Stabilized HOBS's natural composition, which provides an oily boundary film. The super high viscosity index of the Stabilized HOBS naturally improves the high temperature shear stability and improves load capacity. These products have shown to provide exceptional protection in equipment subject to excessive moisture or water spray.

Bio-Medium Preservative Lubricant (Mil-PRF-3150D)

A BCI™ product that gives outstanding corrosion protection as measured by humidity cabinet and salt spray test. Provides protection on ferrous and non-ferrous metals and is non-staining. Excellent as a wire rope lubricant, preservative lubricant, etc. on sheet steel and steel parts and is more fire resistant than mineral base formulas with the same viscosity. Also, excellent on copper corrosion test (Passed Clean 1A).
